Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), an Autonomous Research Institution under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has recently established an International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS) to promote advanced research in novel materials through in-house research, and national and international collaborations. The Centre invites applications for the position of Research Scientist/Technical Assistant to work in the DST project “National Facility of Ultra-high resolution aberration-corrected Transmission Electron Microscope”:

Essential Qualifications
Research Scientist -PhD/BE/B-Tech/M.Sc with research experience
Technical Assistant- M.Sc/BE/B-Tech.
Age: Below 32 years
Tenure: Two years contract extendable to four years
Emoluments: As per the Project norms.
Rs 25,000/- for Research Scientist
Rs. 15,000/- for Technical Assistant
Job requirements: The job demands a high degree of motivation and performance in maintaining and operating sophisticated materials synthesis and characterization systems. The candidates will assist the Faculty and Researchers in task scheduling, routine maintenance, operating of equipment and data acquisition.
