JNCASR Students Residence

The Students Residence at Jakkur campus is the home for the research students of JNCASR. It is situated near to the campus and is built with modern facilities. There are two hostels, with a total of 139 rooms with three floors and has a modern kitchen and a dining hall. The hostel is co-ed, with the top most floors housing the girl students of the campus. There are both double rooms and single rooms to accommodate students. It has a beautiful garden, Table tennis, Volley ball and Badminton courts, TV cum entertainment halls, reading rooms, a large multipurpose room and finally fully furnished guest rooms (two double and two single). Each of the student's rooms is well furnished with cot, table, chair, cabinets and is well ventilated. Many of the rooms have a balcony attached to it. In general, two rooms share a common bathroom, luxury when compared to most of the hostels in India. Hostel provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere for the research students in midst of tiresome research activity.

Guest room booking facility :

The Students Residence has 4 rooms furnished as Guest Rooms. Two double occupancy and two single occupancy. These are exclusively for student's guests and the rooms are booked on a first come first serve basis. To book the guest rooms and the related details Click Here

Student Representatives:

Student Representatives are elected by the students once in a year. They represent the student community at the centre’s meetings and decision making. They will be the officer bearers for a period of one year. Stud reps take the responsibility of the smooth functioning of the hostel and in selecting the various committees that run the hostel. They organize the fresher’s day, annual hostel day and other functions during their tenure.
