Accommodation and Venue

   Speakers: All speakers will be received at the airport/railway station by volunteers and will be accomdated in JNC / IISc guest houses. In the unlikely event of not making contact with our volunteers, please follow the directions here to reach the guest houses. Prof. G. U. Kulkarni and Dr. S. Balasubramanian are available for assistance and are reachable by the special conference cell phones. The guest houses have mess facilities and food will be available from the time of your arrival to the time of your departure.

   Participants The participants for the workshop will be accommodated in the Jawahar guest house, which is situated in the campus of the Indian Institute of Science. Please follow the directions here to reach Jawahar guest house. In case you face difficulties in reaching your venue, you can call Dr. S. Balasubramanian on the special conference cell phone (No: 98451 39367) for assistance. Please note that you will be accommodated at the Indian Institue of Science campus and not the Jakkur campus. If you make the mistake of heading for the Jakkur campus, you will end up spending a wasteful two hours heading back to IISc campus ! So, please make special note of the above.

   For the participants, accommodation is available from the morning of Feb. 12, to the evening of Feb. 17 at a nominal rate of Rs. 50/- per day. Breakfast is available at the Jawahar guest house from Feb 13-17 (both days inclusive). Dinner is available on Feb. 12, 15 and 16. (Feb. 13 and 14 are the scheduled banquet dinner dates).    VenueThe venue for the conference is AMRL auditorium at JNCASR, which is about 30 minutes drive from the place where you will be accommodated. During the conference, cars and buses will be arranged to ply between the two places.
