Announcement of ACCMS-1
An initiative to form an Asian Consortium for Computational
Materials Science (ACCMS) was undertaken during the International
Workshop on Materials Design by Computer Simulation held at
Sendai in August 2000. More details can be obtained
from the web-page of
Institute for Materials Research.
It was unanimously decided to hold the first ACCMS Meeting
in India. We plan to hold it at the Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore
during Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2001. It will be organized by the
Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) Subject Group
"Computer Aided Design of Materials", in association with
Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research
(JNCASR) Bangalore.
