Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry (Two Year Programme)

The New Chemistry Unit at JNCASR is offering a two-year Master's Programme in Chemistry for B.Sc. graduates to pursue mainstream chemistry, with an option to specialize in Materials Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or Energy. This programme includes basic and specialized courses, seminars, and a research project.

Eligibility:

Applicants possessing a minimum of 55% marks at the Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science with Chemistry as one of the major subjects are eligible to apply.

Selection procedure:

Shortlisting for interviews for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry will be done based on the performance in the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026 or a written examination conducted by JNCASR.

Note: Interviews will be held in-person only.
