MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc.) IN CHEMISTRY (TWO YEAR PROGRAMME)
The New Chemistry Unit at JNCASR is offering a two-year Masters Programme in Chemistry for B.Sc. graduates to pursue main stream chemistry, with an option to specialize in Materials Chemistry or Chemical Biology or Energy. This programme is for two years and includes basic and specialized courses, seminars and research project.
Eligibility:
Applicants possessing a minimum of 55% marks at the Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science with Chemistry as one of the major subject are eligible to apply.
Selection procedure:
Shortlisting for interviews for Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry will be done based on the performance in Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2024 or a written examination conducted by JNCASR.
Note: Interview will be held in-person only.
Tuition Fee etc:
Fees would be as per the norms of the Centre. Current norms for payment of tuition fees is Rs 5000/- per annum. In addition, Rs 200 as medical charges and group insurance fee of Rs. 25 will be deducted every month.
Scholarship/Fellowship: Scholarship/fellowship will NOT be paid during this tenure.
