The Bibliotheca Alexandrina International (BA) Award is one of the most prestigious honors presented by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, recognizing exceptional individuals and institutions that have made remarkable contributions to cultural, intellectual, and scientific advancement in Egypt and worldwide.
This esteemed award is granted annually in either fundamental or applied sciences, literature, arts, social sciences, or humanities, celebrating distinguished contributions that serve humanity. It may also be awarded to institutions that have made exceptional impacts in the award’s chosen theme.
Each year, the Higher Committee of the Award selects a specific theme. The current round focuses on:
