Applications are invited for the temporary position of
Project Scientist II to work at the Nano Fabrication Laboratory
(Cleanroom), JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru.
Essential Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering or Postgraduation in Science
with at least 50% marks from a recognized university/institute or an equivalent grade.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant fields (as detailed below) is required.
Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Design and develop safety systems for the cleanroom.
- Operate and maintain the Air Handling Unit.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the cleanroom.
- Troubleshoot technical issues associated with the cleanroom.
- Procure cleanroom consumables.
- Communicate with cleanroom vendors regarding technical problems.
- Operate instruments such as the optical profiler and maskless lithography system.
Scope of Work:
The candidate will be responsible for the complete maintenance of the cleanroom and
any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority.
