Prof. Tapas Kumar Maji obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata in 2002 and carried out postdoctoral research at Kyoto University, Japan, with Prof. Susumu Kitagawa (2003-2005).
