Hall Booking and Poster Board Information

Guidelines and Office Memorandum

Faculty members and Unit Secretaries can book Common Halls and their respective Unit Meeting/Classroom spaces directly. Officers have the privilege to book the New Council Room.

Other members must contact Hall Admins or Unit Chairs via email to book a venue.

The New Auditorium and AMRL Conference Dining Hall can be booked by Faculty members, Unit Secretaries, or other members by sending an email to ao[at]jncasr[dot]ac[dot]in.

Guidelines:

  • To use the poster boards, send a request via email to srinath[at]jncasr[dot]ac[dot]in with details.
  • Each poster board requires 6 binder clips (1-inch size).
  • Users (event organizers) should request the required number of clips from the Stores and Purchase Office.
  • Poster boards should be handled with care.
  • Do not pull down or open the board using the bottom bar; instead, use the strings on the side.
  • The poster board numbers are available with the tech team of the AMRL Conf. Hall; they will install when requested.
  • Poster boards and clips must be removed immediately after the event.
  • Do not use glue tapes on the poster boards.
  • Ensure posters are printed in the specified size.
  • Any damage to boards or nameplates will result in charges.
