National Science Day Program

As part of National Science Day Celebrations conducted by JNCASR, ETU is invited to give lectures, multimedia presentation to students and teachers. This year on 28th February, Mrs. Indumati Rao gave the lecture on `Global warming and Climate change'. The students were introduced to the concept of global warming, terms like greenhouse effect, ozone layer etc. The lecture also provided a glimpse in the role played by individuals, nations in contributing to rising temperatures and to climate changes affecting many places on earth. ETU presented a multimedia presentation of excerpts on the same theme from the CD-ROM titles `Learning Science' Vol. 1 & 2.
