JNCASR Online Journal Access Procedure In order to login to SSL VPN, you need to give Fortigate IP and port number. Ensure the TCP port 443 is opened/ allowed from your network, to establish a successful VPN tunnel to access the Online Journals.

1. Open a browser (Internet Explorer 6.5 or above / Mozilla Firefox 3.0) and type any one of the the following URL.
https://202.131.158.242
https://14.139.155.34:443

Now you can see the SSL VPN login window.
Please login giving the Username/Password which was given to you
After authentication (if you are logging in for first time, it will try download & install SSL-VPN client software from Fortigate firewall) so allow to install the same.
Now click on the left upper corner “Active SSL-VPN Tunnel Mode. It will prompt you to download and install “Fortissl.cab” file. Pl. allows to install the same. After successful activating the tunnel mode you we will get connected to JNCASR’s Local Network and your system automatically will get a JNCASR local IP address.
Now please follow the below steps to access the Online Journals.

Open a new browser and type www.jncasr.ac.in
From the browser select “Facilities” from the top menu and next select “Online Journal” to open the journal page.
Note: In case you disconnected from the VPN, Pl. go back to the above opened page in the browser and click on “connect” button. Else logout and follow the above login process.

VPN Logout Procedure: Pl. go back to the above opened page in the browser and click on “Disconnect” button. Then click on the “Logout” icon (Right up corner)
