A genetically-encoded fluorescence-based reporter to spatiotemporally investigate mannose-6-phosphate pathway

Recent research has highlighted the relevance of mannose-6-phosphate (M6P) pathway-mediated trafficking of lysosomal hydrolases in health and disease. We have developed a new genetically-encoded fluorescence-based reporter to spatiotemporally track M6P pathway. Functionality and robustness of the reporter were validated under different physiological and pathophysiological conditions and also across different cell types.
