Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit

The unit was established at JNCASR as a seat of world class research and higher education on Materials Science and Technology. Material research being a truly interdisciplinary subject, demands expertise in both Chemistry and Physics.

The Unit strives to be a Centre of confluence of talents drawn from both these traditional disciplines. The Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
