Temperature and pressure dependent, gas adsorption studies of MOFs.

Raman scattering captures vibrational modes of molecules and materials. Minute structural changes induced by external stimuli such as temperature  or pressure is reflected as shifts in the vibrational modes frequency and/or increase or decrease in intensity. Our group utilizes Raman spectroscopy technique to investigate and understand phase transitions and gas adsorption in metal organic frameworks (MOFs) such as ZIF-8, ZIF-7, MOF-508 etc.
