Computational studies on the photophysical properties of organic chromophores using Time-Dependent DFT. Understanding the orbital involvement in various transition (like Fluorescence and Phosphorescence) and how SOC(Spin Orbit Coupling) helps in spin forbidden transitions.

Research Interest :

I am interested in probing the Topological and Magnetic properties of various materials using Density Functional Theory. Novel materials which show exotic phases of matter are considered and we try to explain the microscopic origin of such phases and accompanying phase transitions from first principles.
