Revathe has been working on the role of calves and allomothering in structuring female Asian elephant society.
She did a B.Tech. in Biotechnology (2014) from Anna University before switching fields, and carried out fieldwork in the Kabini Elephant Project before joining the Ph.D. programme.

She did her M.Sc. in Animal Science (2017) from the Central University of Kerala before that.

Anvitha is an MS-PhD student, who has just completed her masters' thesis on social organisation simulations.
She was a POBE (Project Oriented Biology Education) summer student at JNCASR during her B.Sc. from 2016-2018 and a Visiting Student in the lab during 2018, before joining the MS-PhD programme.

Ankana is carrying out research on the ecology of adult male associations and subadult male dispersal in the Asian elephant.
She did her M.Sc. in Zoology (2016) from the University of Calcutta, and was an R&D Assistant in the Unit before joining the Ph.D. programme.
