Invisible metal mesh electrodes used as ITO (indium-tin-oxide) alternative serve as transparent electrodes in large area smart window applications. Polymer dispersed liquid crystals (PDLC) working as active layer require minimal input power (~ 0.2 W cm-2) for activation. Low cost materials and processes are attracted industry interaction in recent months. The novelty in this work relates to the choice of materials and scalable integration.
