Essential Qualification: Masters or equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualification:
Minimum 2 years of Hands-on experience in advanced microscopy techniques, such as: Fluorescence microscopy, Laser scanning Confocal microscopy, super-resolution microscopy such as (Airy scan).
Practical Knowledge of image acquisition software and capability of imaging wide variety of samples from bacteria to 3D cultures, tissue samples and Photo manipulation techniques (FRET, FRAP), Live cell imaging
Expertise in image analysis software and pipeline building for high throughput data including batch processing and puncta counting.
Prior experience in working for core imaging facility
Involvement in training researchers and students from academia and industries in microscopy techniques and analysis software.
Working in a team with willingness to learn and adapt to new imaging technologies.
Ability to write reports and maintain logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
Should be able to perform all the above work independently or with minimum supervision.
