Geetansh pursuing

Hello, I am Geetansh. I hold a Bsc non medical degree from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, Haryana. I joined JNCASR in 2021 as an Integrated PhD student. I am working under Prof. Sebastian C. Peter and I have a deep passion for electrocatalytic CO₂ reduction. Beyond my academic pursuits, I have a keen interest in cricket, travelling and basketball.

Saikat Das pursuing

I come from Tribeni, a small town in West Bengal. I did my schooling at Tribeni Tissues Vidyapith. I received my B. Sc in Chemistry  degree from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College. I joined Int. PhD. Chemical Sciences in JNCASR and currently pursuing research on Water Electrolysis and Fuel Cell under the supervision of Prof. Sebastian C. Peter. My hobbies are photography, travelling, gardening and collecting antiques. 

Jagmeet Kaur pursuing Ph.D.

I was born and grew up in Punjab, India. I did my schooling at Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, Bhikhi, Punjab. I completed my graduation and postgraduation in Chemistry Honors from Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab. To further explore the science, I joined as a PhD student in this group on July 7, 2023. My research interest lies in designing semiconductor materials and their applications in photocatalysis, mainly for CO₂ reduction. Along with research, I love to play badminton, draw, sketch, and listen to music.

Gopika G pursuing Ph.D.

Born and brought up in the Alappuzha district in Kerala, I completed my undergraduation and postgraduation in Chemistry from Sacred Heart College under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. program under the supervision of Prof. Sebastian C. Peter in the Solid State Chemistry and Catalysis group at NCU. My research focus lies in the area of thermo-catalytic conversion of CO₂ to multi-carbon products including SAF. Apart from research, I am interested in singing, reading books, and drawing.

Immanuel Jabez S pursuing Ph.D.

I'm from Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, where I did my schooling at Rosemary School. I obtained my B.Sc. in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Tirunelveli, and subsequently pursued an M.Sc. at IISER Thiruvananthapuram. Driven by my passion for science, I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in materials chemistry from July 2024, focusing on catalyst design for electrochemical CO₂ reduction and the development of new membranes for CO₂ electrolyzers. In addition to my research, I have a keen interest in listening music, playing cricket, traveling, and photography.

Yashas V Bharadwaj pursuing

Hello!!! I'm Yashas, I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (2019-2022). I joined JNCASR in the year 2023 as an Integrated PhD student in Chemical Sciences. My research focuses on electrocatalytic CO₂ reduction under the supervision of Professor Sebastian C. Peter. In my leisure time, I relish playing sports, watching movies, and exploring new places
