Congratulations to Prasenjit Mandal on his successful Ph.D. thesis colloquium and submission. His work explores the photo-physics and magneto-optical properties of undoped and doped Perovskite Quantum dots.

We are looking for motivated PhD students to join our group.

If you have completed your M.Sc. or MS in Physics or Chemistry from an Indian university with a valid UGC-CSIR NET Fellowship, you are encouraged to apply.

Candidates willing to appear for the walk-in interview can send a detailed resume (including contact details) along with scanned copies of degree certificates, mark sheets, and score/award letter of National Level Exam (preferably UGC-JRF/CSIR-NET-JRF June 2023) along with the preferred interview date (30/06/2023) to: ncu@jncasr.ac.in.

Mr. Subham Das from Quantum Dot Lab,JNASR received the best poster award at the International Conference on Advanced Materials (ICAM), 2023 held in Goa, India.

Latest Publication from Quantum Dot Lab

Our recent work based on investigation of dopant-induced structural perturbations using extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy and ultrafast charge carrier dynamics using femtosecond transient absorption (TA) spectroscopy in CdS QDs with everal different TM ions (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu) is now published in Chemistry of Materials.
