We're honoured to receive the certificate of appreciation from Hon'ble Union Minister of State for S&T Dr. Jitendra Singh, for being among the top performers of  Karmayogi Saptah- National Learning Week held during 19th October to 27th October 2024 on iGOT Karmayogi platform.

The certificate was presented at the Valedictory Ceremony of Karmayogi Saptah held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14 Nov.2024.

Prof.G.U.Kulkarni, the President, JNCASR inaugurated the newly constructed Security Kiosk and two-wheeler parking facility near the main gate on Wednesday 28th August 2024 in the August presence of BWC members and officers.

The 78 Independence Day was celebrated at JNCASR on 15th August 2024 with great enthusiasm, pride, and honor. Prof. G.U. Kulkarni, President, JNCASR hoisted the national flag which was followed by the National Anthem sung by the students of the Cultural group, this created a patriotic ambiance on the premises.

Bharat Ratna Prof CNR Rao along with Mrs. Indumati Rao and a large number of faculty members, students & staff members participated in the celebration.

Innovation & Development Centre of JNCASR and Hemavathi Hostel of CeNS has been inaugurated by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary to Govt. of India, Department of Science and Technology in the august presence of Bharat Ratna Prof. C.N.R. Rao, Prof. Ramgopal Rao, Chairperson, Council of Management, JNCASR and Prof. K.N. Ganesh, Chairperson, Governing Council, CeNS. Prof. B.L.V. Prasad, Director, CeNS, and Prof. G.U. Kulkarni, President, JNCASR were also present during the occasion on the dias.

Prof. Karandikar and other dignitaries on the dias addressed the gathering. On this occasion, Tech Translation - a Poster Exhibition & Interaction with Industry was also held at IDC.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024 at Kanada Auditorium inside the campus. This year's theme was “Yoga for Self and Society”. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. G. U. Kulkarni, President, JNCASR. The event included a lecture cum demonstration of yoga asanas by students under the supervision of Anand Guruji from Patanjali and his students. Around 100 members of the JNCASR community including Students, Professors, and Staff members participated in the event.

JNCASR organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Sankalp India Foundation. Around 66 members of the JNCASR community including Students, Professors, and Staff members voluntarily came forward to participate in the drive.
