As part of the celebration of Matribhasha Diwas at the Centre on 21st February 2025, an Essay Competition was conducted for the members of the Centre on the theme "Talent and Ability Development through Mother Tongue" – emphasizing the role of language in fostering creativity, intellect, and personal growth.
The cash prizes were announced for the winners of the competition.
The refurbishing of Administrative block is completed, and the Accounts Establishment units will be shortly relocated.

The Dhanvantari (Health Centre) e-platform software was declared opened to use by Prof. G U Kulkarni President JNCASR on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
1.Doctors can generate prescription online and access any/ all medical records of the patient at the Centre.
2.Nurses have access to all prescriptions.
3.Lab technicians can upload the test reports.
4.Users of Dhanvantari can access their medical records from anywhere and at anytime.
To enhance public understanding and readiness for seismic events, the Geosciences Unit, in collaboration with the Safety Committee at JNCASR, organized an insightful talk titled 'Awareness on Earthquake Preparedness Hazard Mitigation'on 21 January 2025 by Dr. Ajay Paul, a distinguished Senior Scientist at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun. The Geosciences Unit and the Safety Committee at JNCASR aim to foster a culture of safety and preparedness within the institute.
This informative session provided valuable insights for JNCASR researchers and staff on how to stay safe during an earthquake and contribute to a more resilient community. The event served as a vital platform to equip participants with in-depth knowledge on hazard mitigation strategies, highlighting the importance of proactive planning, community engagement, and scientific understanding to minimize the impact of earthquakes and enhance resilience against seismic risks.
Mission Recruitment - Rozgar Mela
A blood donation drive was successfully conducted at JNCASR on 13th December 2024, in collaboration with the Sankalp India Foundation. The drive resulted in the collection of 45 units of blood by the Sankalp Blood Centre. These donations will be used to support patients in need, including children with Thalassemia who require regular blood transfusions every 15–20 days.
This initiative reflects JNCASR's commitment to supporting healthcare and community welfare.
We're honoured to receive the certificate of appreciation from Hon'ble Union Minister of State for S T Dr. Jitendra Singh, for being among the top performers of Karmayogi Saptah- National Learning Week held during 19th October to 27th October 2024 on iGOT Karmayogi platform.
The certificate was presented at the Valedictory Ceremony of Karmayogi Saptah held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14 Nov.2024.

Prof.G.U.Kulkarni, the President, JNCASR inaugurated the newly constructed Security Kiosk and two-wheeler parking facility near the main gate on Wednesday 28th August 2024 in the August presence of BWC members and officers.
