The ultrasonic electronic generator transforms AC line power to a high frequency electrical energy that drives a piezoelectric converter/transducer. The internal characteristic of the piezoelectric crystal converts the electrical signal to mechanical vibration. The vibration is amplified and transmitted down the length of the probe which is immersed in the sample of interest.
The ultrasonic wave cell pulveriser PKS – 250 (PCI Analytics) uses the microcontroller controlling technology and the phase locked loop frequency automatic tracking.
The instrument has the following specifications:
- Working frequency: 20 to 25 KHz. Automatic frequency tracking.
- Time clocking: 0 to 59 minutes 59 seconds with a precision of 1 s±0.1%.
- Temperature setting scope: 0 to 59 ⁰C with a precision of ±1 ⁰C.
- Power adjustment scope: 0 to 99% (not recommended to go above 80% without a cooling system).
- Probe tips made of chemical resistant solid material in different volume 0.5-15 mL, 20-250 mL and step of micro tips.
- Run multiple programs in sequence (up to ten sets).
- Over temperature protection and alarming functions.
