Observance of World Environment Day Pre campaign from 15.05.2026 to 05.06.2026

1. Display of images on 7 themes of Mission Life in the digital display screens.

2. Planting of Saplings  at Day Care Facility (Creche).

3. Awareness Campaign on waste segregation at different locations in the campus.

4  Regular monitoring of e-waste at different locations in the campus and segregated for disposal at regular intervals.

5. Children from Day Care facility (DCF) participated in the save environment activities to create awareness on safe environment.

6."No single plastic use" campaign was initiated at the campus.

7. Demonstration on ‘One Earth, One Family: Let’s Love our planet’ was conducted for kids at the Day Care Facility (creche) by Dr. Jaishri Sanwal Bhatt, Project Scientist I, GDU, JNCASR.

8. Chemical waste disposal training was conducted for all lab safety incharges as part of the WED pre campaign activities.

9. A talk on ‘Our planet, our responsibility Act now for a Greener Tomorrow’ was presented by Dr. Jaishri Sanwal Bhatt, Project Scientist I, GDU at Hall of Science, JNCASR.

10. On 5th June 2025, saplings were planted to encourage the initiative of ‘Keep the Earth clean and green.’ and inculcate an environmental consciousness in our community. Deans, Faculty members, Officers and Staff members participated in this event.
