Project Associate-I Research Associate

Applications are invited for the temporary positions of Project Associate-I sanctioned in the sponsored project titled “Harnessing human stem cell- based technologies to study developmental mechanism of epilepsy disorders” under the Principal Investigator Prof. Anuranjan Anand, MBGU, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru-560 064.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc./PG Degree in Biological Sciences, Qualified National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies, CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, DBT-BET Category - II .

Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. with  experience in molecular genetics laboratory skills, in cell and tissue culture, bioinformatics and statistical analysis, transcriptomics data analysis, animal handling is desirable. Ability to work as a team member efficiently.

Project Technical Support III (non-medical) R&D Staff

Project Technical Support-III (Non-medical) (Remuneration Rs.28,000/-, plus 30% HRA). Remuneration will be fixed based on experience. Essential Qualification: (1) M.Sc./PG or equivalent degree in a relevant subject, (2) Three years graduate degree in a relevant subject, and three years’ post-qualification experience. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. with experience in Molecular Genetics and cell culture laboratory skills, experience in mice handling, mice colony maintenance, genotyping, histology, mice behavioral experiments and analysis, and statistical analysis. Ability to work efficiently as a team member.

Project Assistantship R&D Staff

Candidates with an MSc in any branch of biology, bioinformatics, statistics , MBBS, MD or an equivalent degree are eligible to apply.  Interested candidates willing to take up a position for a duration of not less than 2 years should send their application (E-mail: anand@jncasr.ac.in)

Post-doctoral Fellowship Research Associate

Candidates who have obtained their PhD in the last 1-2 years and are keen to carry out research exploring biological mechanisms underlying neurological disorders are encouraged to apply (Email: anand@jncasr.ac.in). Suitable candidates will be invited to visit and give a seminar in the laboratory.
