MoU with HPCL for the "Development of design framework to evaluate the performance of FCC nozzle"
The work entailed the development of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model to predict the flow behavior inside an FCC nozzle and the spray size distribution at the outlet. A detailed estimation of the pressure drop across the nozzle was also carried out.
