Wire bonder – West Bond
Wire bonder bond aluminum or gold wires to the micro contact pads of the fabricated device chip using
wedge - wedge bonding technique. The typical wire dia. ranges from 20 to 50 µm. The bonding technique
uses ultrasonic energy to bond aluminum wire and gold wire.
