Madhurima Sarkar

I'm Madhurima Sarkar, originally from Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. I finished my schooling from Jalpaiguri Govt. Girls 's High School. Then I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) . After my Master's, I joined Prof. Sebastian C. Peter's lab at JNCASR in August 2022." Currently I am working under the mentorship of Prof. Sebastian C. Peter as Junior Research Fellow( R&D) in CoE project which is funded by DST. My work encompasses in the field of catalyst designing from CO₂ to lower olefins.

Arnold Tharun

I am Arnold Tharun Thomas, an early-stage researcher from Kerala. I completed my master's degree in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. I interned at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. I have worked on polymer composites, metal-organic frameworks, and C-H bond activation using pincer ligands. Currently, I am working with Prof. Sebastian C. Peter as a Junior Research Fellow at JNCASR, Bangalore. I am focusing on the Thermochemical conversion of carbon dioxide to methanol.

Sanjay Sajeev

I was born in the picturesque city of Kochi, located in the state of Kerala. I completed my undergraduate studies in chemistry at St. Thomas College, Palai, and subsequently pursued a master's degree in chemistry at the esteemed University College, Thiruvananthapuram. During my master's program, I had the privilege of undertaking an internship under the guidance of Prof. Abhijit Patra at IISER Bhopal, where I focused on research related to Porous Organic Polymers for Carbon Dioxide conversion. Following this, I completed my Master's thesis project centred on thin film photo-detectors, working under the mentorship of Dr. Biswapriya Deb at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. Currently, my professional pursuits are directed towards the task of scaling up the production of methanol through thermochemical conversion of Carbon dioxide. In addition to my academic and research endeavours, I derive great pleasure from urban hiking during my leisure time.

Meera R

I was born and brought up in Kozhikode,Kerala. I did my schooling from Bharatiya Vidyabhavan,Malappuram,Kerala. Later I completed my Integrated MSc Chemistry from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,Coimbatore, Tamilnadu in 2023. To expand and improve my research skills I joined as an R&D assistant in Prof. Sebastian C peter group in August 2023. I am currently working in catalyst development and testing for fuel cell applications. My hobbies include listening to music, dancing and travelling.

Anu P

I was born, raised up, and educated up to a degree level in Calicut, the land of rich history, the spice trade, and coastal beauty situated in the southern Indian state of Kerala. I am a science graduate from Farook College, Kozhikode, with chemistry as my main subject & maths and physics as subsidiaries. Later, I completed my master of science in chemistry from Farook College in 2021. I joined the group of Prof. Sebastian C. Peter, New Chemistry unit, JNCASR as a junior research fellow in October 2022. My area of research is the synthesis of super-hydrophobic materials for self-cleaning applications & design and optimization of porous material-based CO₂ capture systems. My hobbies are singing, listening to music and traveling.
