Dr. Ashok Singh
I am Ashok Singh, and I come from the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics from Kumaun University, Nainital. I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at IIT Indore. My research focuses on Density Functional Theory (DFT) to understand catalytic activity at the atomic scale, particularly how electronic structure and local active sites govern reaction pathways in energy-related processes such as CO2 reduction, ORR, OER, ethanol oxidation, and overall water splitting. Outside research, I enjoy playing cricket and exploring new places.
Dr. Subhajit Chakraborty
I was born and brought up in West Bengal, India. I pursued my undergraduation (BSc) from University of Calcutta and postgraduation (MSc) from IIT Kharagpur. I earned my Ph.D. degree from JNCASR. My research interest lies in the development of heterogeneous catalyst for CO2 reduction and solid state structural chemistry. Besides that my other interest includes playing cricket, voiceovers, music and crafts new things.
Dr. Veenu Mishra
I am currently working as D. S. Kothari post-doctoral fellow at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) under the guidance of Prof. Sebastian C. Peter. My work at JNCASR is focused on development of molecular catalysts for CO2 fixation into value added products. I did B.Sc. from G. F College Shahjahanpur (UP) and M.Sc. from Lucknow University (UP). I did my Ph.D from IIT Indore, Discipline of Chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Shaikh M. Mobin. I have published 11 research articles in international peer-reviewed journals during my Ph.D journey. I was also awarded CSIR-Senior Research Fellowship during my Ph.D.
