Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on “Investigating the effect of genetic modulation of autophagy pathway in Hirschsprung’s disease patients.” under the guidance of Principal Investigator Prof. Ravi Manjithaya, Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit (MBGU), JNCASR, Bengaluru 560 064

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/ Post Graduate degree in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following a.) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE b.) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc. Experience with tissue processing and immunohistochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, image analysis, statistics, extensive expertise in molecular biology and biochemical techniques. Proficiency in mammalian cell culture. Must be willing to work in collaborating institutes in the city. Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates with prior research experience and good communication and presentation skills. Candidate should be a team player.
