Prof. Chandrabhas Narayana obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1995 and carried out postdoctoral research in the Materials Science and Engineering Department of Cornell University, NewYork from 1995 to 1998. He joined JNCASR as an Assistant Professor in 1998. He is now a Professor in the Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit. From November 2020, he has been the Director of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala.
